This site should work for everyone — including people who use assistive technology, larger text, or reduced motion. Here is the standard we build to, what we do today, and how to reach us if something is in your way.
The standard we build to
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Accessibility is reviewed as pages are designed and built, not bolted on afterward.
What this site does today
- Respects your motion settings. If your device asks for reduced motion, video and animation step aside for still imagery across the site.
- High-contrast, readable type. A dark-ink-on-bone palette and a responsive type scale designed to stay legible at phone sizes and when you zoom.
- Structure a screen reader can follow. Semantic headings and landmarks, descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and decorative images marked so they stay out of the way.
- Forms you can complete by keyboard. Every field on our evaluation form is labeled, and the site’s navigation is reachable without a mouse.
Known limitations
Some patient-story videos do not yet have captions or transcripts; we are working through them. If you would like the substance of any video in text, contact us and we will provide it directly.
